1. Service Description

Famine Prep ("we," "our," "the Service"), operated by Urban Root, provides AI-generated food preparation reports personalized to user inputs including country, household size (adults, children, and pets), budget, and situation. Reports are generated using artificial intelligence and delivered digitally through our website.

2. Nature of Content

All reports generated by Famine Prep are for informational and educational purposes only. Our reports are:

• Generated by artificial intelligence based on user-provided inputs
• Not a substitute for professional nutritional, medical, veterinary, financial, or survival advice
• Based on general knowledge and may not account for all local conditions, regulations, or individual circumstances
• Provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any particular purpose
• Inclusive of pet preparation guidance when applicable, which should be verified with a veterinarian for your specific animals

3. No Professional Advice

Famine Prep does not provide professional nutritional, medical, veterinary, agricultural, or financial advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making decisions based on our reports. We are not responsible for actions taken based on report content, including any pet-related recommendations.

4. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when generating reports
• Independently verify any information before acting on it
• Use the reports for personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Not redistribute, resell, or republish generated reports
• Keep your license key secure and not share it publicly

5. Purchases, Payments, and License Keys

Paid reports are processed through LemonSqueezy, our merchant of record. By making a purchase, you agree to LemonSqueezy's terms of service in addition to these terms. All prices are displayed in USD and include applicable taxes, calculated and collected by LemonSqueezy based on your location.

Upon purchase, you receive a license key via email. This key:

• Activates on up to 3 devices
• Does not expire
• Allows unlimited report regeneration with updated inputs at no additional cost
• Is personal to you and should not be shared or resold

6. Fair Use Policy

Famine Prep is a one-time purchase that includes a fair-use allowance of AI-generated reports. This policy exists to keep the service available and affordable for all users while preventing automated abuse.

Under this policy:

• Each licence key is limited to 10 report generations per rolling 24-hour period.
• Requests beyond this limit will receive a temporary "too many requests" response and can be retried after the 24-hour window has elapsed.
• The limit is enforced per licence, not per device. A licence activated on multiple devices shares a single 24-hour allowance.
• Urban Root reserves the right to adjust fair-use limits where necessary to maintain service quality, with reasonable advance notice communicated via the product website for any material reductions.
• Automated, scripted, or bulk-generation use of the report generator is not permitted and may result in licence deactivation without refund.

For most users, 10 reports per day is well in excess of typical use — a personal crisis-prep plan does not typically need to be regenerated more than a few times. If you have a genuine use case that requires a higher limit, contact support before attempting to exceed the allowance.

7. Report Downloads

Full reports include a download option. Reports are generated as self-contained HTML files in your browser for your personal use. You can also save them as PDF using your browser's print function. You may share downloaded reports with members of your immediate household. You may not redistribute, sell, or publish reports commercially.

8. Local Data Storage

The Service stores your form inputs and license key in your browser's local storage to improve your experience on return visits. This data exists only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser data.

9. Intellectual Property

The Famine Prep website, branding, and underlying technology are owned by Urban Root. Reports generated for you are licensed for your personal use. The AI-generated content in reports is provided for your use but may not be resold as a product or service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Famine Prep and Urban Root shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on generated reports. This includes, but is not limited to, damages related to food preparation, health outcomes, pet care decisions, financial decisions, or any actions taken based on report content.

11. Availability

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
